8 Features Every Med Spa Website Must Have
Most med spa websites look acceptable and convert terribly. Here are the eight features that separate a site that generates bookings from one that just exists.
1. Online Booking Integration
The single highest-impact feature. If a visitor cannot book from your website, you are forcing them to call or DM — and most will not bother. Integrate directly with your booking platform (Jane App, Mindbody, Acuity, Calendly) so bookings happen directly from every page.
2. Before & After Gallery
Aesthetic clients make decisions based on results. A clean, filterable gallery organised by treatment is the most persuasive content on a med spa website. It answers the question every visitor has: "Can this clinic actually deliver what I want?"
3. Mobile-First Design
70%+ of clinic searches happen on phones. If your website is a desktop site that happens to work on mobile, you are losing those visitors before they read a single sentence. Design for mobile first.
4. Treatment-Specific Pages
Every treatment should have its own page — not a bullet point on a services list. A dedicated page for "Lip Fillers in [City]" ranks on Google, answers every question a prospect has, and builds confidence before they call.
5. Google Reviews Integration
Social proof from real clients displayed directly on your website — not just on Google. A section showing 4.9 stars with 80+ reviews builds more trust in 5 seconds than any copywriting.
6. Clear, Prominent CTA
Every page should have one clear primary action: "Book a Consultation." Not buried in the footer. Not hidden in the nav. Visible above the fold, in the middle of the page, and at the bottom.
7. Fast Load Times
Slow sites create poor user experiences and can weaken search performance. Users are also more likely to abandon pages that take too long to load. A Next.js-built site with proper image optimisation should score strongly on Google PageSpeed.
8. Location & Google Maps Section
An embedded Google Map with your address, hours, and a link to your Google Business Profile. It signals to Google that you are a real local business, and it makes it easy for clients to find you.
The Checklist
Go through your current website and check each of these. If you are missing more than two, you are leaving bookings on the table every single day.
